The University of Courage is beneficial to the Madison community, to you and to your future. This Web site bridges the gap between thinking of doing something positive and going out there and actually doing something positive. UCourage makes this possible with three main functions.

Search
UCourage gives you the ability to search our compiled listing of events, programs, charities, drop-off sites and any other volunteer based opportunities so you can find something you would personally like to be involved with.

Communicate
UCourage has collected the names, numbers and emails of the appropriate contacts for you to take the next step with whichever nonprofit you choose. Also, UCourage opens the door for intra-Web communication between other students, groups or organizations. This allows you to meet others involved in Madison with the possibility of partnering up or forming a team to maximize impact.

Recognition
UCourage understands the importance of the hard work of its students and has a designated area to recognize efforts of highly philanthropic individuals. Whether the University gets word from a nonprofit, or if someone would like to nominate a student they know, UCourage wants to get the word out.

Madison is what you make of it. Being a positive part of the community can only better yourself and your experience in Madison. Plus, there are plenty of organizations that need your help. Madison is a large city with large city needs, and there will never be a drought of those needs.
